Update - WashU IT and BJC technical teams are investigating issues with the Avaya One X Agent. Technical teams have continued to work with the Avaya vendor to test and troubleshoot the issue but have not yet been able to identify root cause. Our next step will be to escalate our support case with Cisco for help analyzing firewall and network configuration, and we will continue to work with Avaya as they continue their analysis of the data we have provided them today.

Investigating - WashU IT and BJC technical teams are investigating issues with the Avaya One X Agent. An upgrade was performed in February and appeared stable initially. Since then, an increasing number of remote users on WashU VPN have been reporting issues with audio dropping and similar issues affecting their Avaya service.

Update - BJC IT is aware that users are experiencing intermittent wi-fi connectivity issues at Barnes-Jewish Hospital – North Campus only. Technical teams reverted a planned change from this morning, made some configuration changes and rebooted some devices. The majority of impacted areas have had service restored.

Resolved - WashU IT will be making a configuration change to the BeyondTrust application (used for Service Desk teams to remotely interact with a user's computer). A technical issue has been identified with using the "Jump tp" button to connect with a user's computer, where future attempts to connect to the same computer may experience difficulties (even for other WUIT technicians). As a result, we will be removing the Jump To button from the Beyond Trust application. WUIT technicians should continue to use the normal process to search for a computer name and connect.
